Yes we got our letter notarized, apostiled and off in the mail this afternoon. Pray that there are no more set backs and that our dossier will be off soon to Bulgaria. If it is off this weekend we will be most probably registered with the Ministry of Justice by the end of October, which means we could be on our first visit to Bulgaria next Sept or October to see our son! Can't wait.
We bought him a "car" toddler bed this past Saturday at a garage sale. It is so cute. The girls want to play in it. It takes a crib mattress and is in the guest bedroom right now. I am thinking depending on his age, he will probably be in a bed and this would work for him to start with to sleep in our bedroom. From what we have read, children adopted have night/sleep issues in the beginning (having to do with grief and fear). So we will have him in our room to start off with, but in his own bed.
It is exciting to buy stuff for him already. We have some clothes (donated from my friend Sarah) and garage sales. We probably won't buy anymore until we meet him because we don't know for sure what age he will be when he comes home. Thank you for your prayers and support!

I just found your blog. I read about why you changed from Ukraine. I hope it all goes well for you.
I have been following your blog. Thank you for sharing!! I also want to adopt from Bulgaria using TOL, that's how I found you. My husband is not ready yet, so I am just waiting for his go ahead...which may never come. We adopted from Russia in 2005 and also have 3 bios. So it is a lot, I understand his trepidation. Still, I am excited about adopting from Bulgaria and think it is a great choice of countries right now. Keep us posted. Has Kay given you any kind of timeline as to when things will happen?
Yeah!!!! It's offical, you're 'waiting'!!!!!!! Too cute on the bed! I love that your girls are playing with it... as I'm sitting here, Will is 'feeding' a bottle to a doll we have waiting for Sis(that's all I can come up with to call her)! I'm guessing the boy stuff in your house looks about as out of place as the girl stuff in mine!
I'm so glad your 12 month clock is finally ticking, what an answer to prayer! Glad to be going through this with you! Let me know when it all gets to Bulgaria! PTL!
