Today I searched for some more Bulgarian blogs to follow now that I consider ourselves in the 'waiting' stage of our adoption. Zachariahproject is a blog where the family has actually made their first trip to Bulgaria to meet their son, so they are waiting to return to pick him up some time in the spring. I love reading other people's blogs! If you go to the Kenofamily blog they posted two youtube videos about adoption which are awesome, I would post them on here but it takes me forever to figure out how to do it. If you know of any birthmoms they should watch the video's too, very touching and encouraging (made me cry).
I will try and post some pictures of Bulgaria if I can figure it out, soon so you can see what it looks like (old country vs westernized).

Hello, Celeste! I just remembered that you asked me a question on our blog about insurance coverage for Wesley's surgery. Insurance did cover it - no questions asked! He also had to have a hernia repaired, so maybe they allowed it because he had to have something else done - ?? Our insurance though is out of this world wonderful! You can also call your insurance company and ask what their policy is regarding that type of surgery. Praying you hear word from Bulgaria soon!!!!

I heard today that on February 3the Ministry of Justice in Bulgaria had it's meeting to go over in country dossiers. So hopefully both of our dossiers were looked at and registered!!

Hi! Our family is adoption from Bulgaria as well! And like you we are looking for other Bulgarian adoption blogs to follow...so I hope you don't mind us following yous! :) As for us, we had our first trip to Bulgaria back in December of 2010! Just a few months ago! There is such a culteral difference there! It was neat to see! Ours sons are in an orphanage in Zalatrist about 3 hours away from Sophia Bulgraia.
