On another note, Caroline got a knitting kit from my mom, brother and step father, so we practiced knitting today. She is making a red purse! I forgot how much I actually enjoy knitting. I think I will begin knitting something for Calvin or the workers at the orphanage. Another hobby to keep me busy...running is going well. I am finally up to running 40 min (3.6miles). Am I enjoying it yet, no, but I do like how I feel when I have accomplished my goal. I have been volunteering at the hospital NICU, Sundays seem to be the best time for me and my family to do that. I am enjoying it the more I go. Those babies are so precious. I tell them how they are loved by God. I pray that my son knows that he is loved and that God is protecting him. Wish we could be there now.

praying and knitting
I have been praying that we will be travelling this summer to meet our son. My prayer in the past has been for our sons protection and that he would be home 'soon'. I am studying the book of James in my precepts bible study at church and this past week we discussed chapter 1. We talked about prayer and how God will answer our prayers if we ask without doubting. Do we pray doubting that God will actually answer our prayers? James 1: 6-8 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord, he is a double minded man, unstable in all his ways. My prayer is still that the Lords will be done. But I am also praying specifically knowing he will answer the cry of my heart.

Awesome job on with the running!! You are making so much progress. Just keep going slow and steady. I too hope you travel this summer. It is a difficult wait.
Celeste,
My mom knit lots of brightly colored scarves that we took to Russia as gifts for the ladies at the baby home. They seemed to like them. Happy knitting!!
